She was later offered a slot on Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor 5 where she was featured in the "Is It Legal?" segment. segments, where she often debated with Bill O'Reilly (and Megyn) Kelly. In September 2007 CNN President Jon Klein appointed Hostin as the legal analyst of the flagship morning show American Morning. In 2014, Hostin began frequently appearing as a guest presenter on The View, the ABC daytime talk show The View. In 2014, too, she appeared as a contestant on the Mother's Day edition of Food Network's Chopped. The final result was that Hostin was eliminated. But, she came back next year to take part in the Amateurs Redemption episode. She was also not able to take home the prize. 13 Hostin was part of the TEDx Talk titled "A Possibility Model" that detailed the effects of trauma that occurred early. 14 Hostin was made a Senior Legal Correspondent at ABC News and an analyst in March 2016. Hostin was made a permanent cohost of The View in September 2016. This was the 20th season. 16 Hostin was present on the comedy film of 2017 Girls Trip.
